Nicki’s humour was infectious; pardon the pun :) She never failed to make me laugh even on a busy and stressful day at work. Working from home her bright personality and caring side shined through. When on-call via Teams she would always check in with every single member of the on-call team to ensure our day is going well and were taking breaks. Her nickname for me was ‘Luth’ in the office and would tease me and shower me with affection, her hugs were so tight I couldn’t help but laugh. I will miss all the times me and Robina, Jill and Nicki would tease each other till we laughed. She brought a different kind of brightness to the office and I don’t think it will feel the same without her but I am so grateful we had her in our lives and can only pray she is in peace and in a better place.
