Nicki helped induct me into my registrar role as a health protection practitioner, with humour, charm and warmth. She was always so encouraging and supportive in the on call room, making us laugh alongside the busy day job. I also admired and felt connection to her passion for people whose social challenges, such as homelessness, make healthcare and preventative support more complex and challenging.
